This is the official opening day of the pit for Freedom Tri. With a dip/swim and then pastries/sausages after!
For NEW MEMBERS; You will be able to come along. There will be a brief induction and then a dip/swim to first/second buoy just to familiarise yourself with the water and how the sessions work. We will then be doing full lap inductions for new members as from W/C 15/5/23. (This is because the water at the moment is still quite cold at only 11/12degrees and it is difficult for swim leaders to take inductions with the potential for stopping/starting with members who are not familiar with these temperatures.)
You must be a member of the BTF.
If driving up the track, meet at the cemetery car park 20min before swim time.
*** Please note the main road through Arlesey is closed on the station side of the Pit. Can only approach from cemetery side. ***
If you are parking at Fairfield and walking over, please be mindful of the residents and be aware of where you park and keep noise to a minimum.
Gate code 1405 to unlock, anything but 1405 to lock.
All booking will close at 7pm the day before.
