Freedom Tri Group Ride Guidelines:
Freedom group rides are organised to accommodate a range of abilities – please choose the ride appropriate for you and check that the distance, speed and times work for you.
Cyclists are expected to be reasonably self-sufficient (i.e. bike in a safe and road worthy condition and equipped to repair a puncture). Helmets are compulsory.
The group will wait in the event of a puncture or mechanical and won’t leave anyone without their consent.
All members are liable for their own actions during a club group ride. These rides are not coached sessions and therefore Freedom Tri does not provide any insurance for individual members whilst participating in group rides.
We strongly recommend that members obtain their own insurance and the BTF offer both public liability and personal insurance cover for all your training https://www.britishtriathlon.org/join
