The swim season may have come to an end, but there's still multi-sport events going on in the form of duathlon, a run/bike/run event.  7 athletes raced at the Bedford Autodrome Duathlon, a qualifier even for the European Championships.  Michelle Reeves, Chris Belcher, Michael Day, Chris Priestly, Gareth Charles, Thomas Sauka and Rob Sedgwick lined up at the start in wet and wild conditions, contending the race over  a 5km run, followed by a 20km bike ride, then finishing off with a 2.5km run.  Reeves finished in 7th position in her age group in 1:09:16, Belcher in 11th in 1:00:31, Day in 11th in 1:03:15, Priestly in 11th in his age group in 1:14:33, Charles finished 14th in his age group in 1:03:48, Sauka finished 20th in 1:05:36.  Unfortunatly Sedgwick did not finish due to a puncture on the bike.
