Sunday saw Freedom Tri's triathletes out racing for the Hertfordshire Triathlon Club Champs Standard distance at Stanborough Lakes, Welwyn, swimming 1,500m, cycling 40km (25 miles), and running 10k (6.2 miles)

Suzy Hawkins (pictured above) had a great racing, finishing 1st in category and 3rd lady over all, in 2:34:07, adding to her success at the Sprint distance champs earlier in the season.  Michelle Reeves was 5th in age group in 2:38:16, Hamish Sabey-Corkindale finished 6th in his age group in 2:32:15, Emma Kinsey 7th in age group in 2:48:21.  Martin Hawke finished 12th in his age group in 2:29:00, James Parsons finished 18th in his age group in 2:35:12.  Mark Allen finished 22nd in his age group in 2:49:54, Matt Cotter finished 20th in age group in 3:00:17, and Rob Evans finished 30th in age group in 3:06:22.
